Paddle Billing is a subscription billing and invoicing platform for SaaS, mobile app, software and other digital product businesses. It brings recurring payments, invoice creation, online checkout, customer subscription management, payment recovery and global tax handling into one product. Recurring billing supports weekly, monthly, annual and custom billing periods, while automated invoice generation and a hosted customer portal cover ongoing customer administration. Its Merchant of Record model also includes global sales tax and VAT collection and remittance, internationally compliant invoice documents, fraud protection and chargeback protection.
Pricing is structured around two options. Pay-as-you-go costs 5% + 50¢ per Checkout transaction, with no migration fees, monthly fees or hidden extras listed in the plan highlights. Custom pricing is available for rapidly scaling and established large-scale businesses, and invoicing requires custom pricing. This makes the product most suitable for companies that want transaction-based billing for checkout or have a larger billing operation that can accommodate a tailored commercial arrangement.
