Our verdict on Sprig

Sprig is an enterprise survey and UX research platform for teams studying customers, markets, products, experiences, journeys, and concepts. It combines in-product surveys, external participant recruitment, prototype testing, recorded usability tasks, replays, heatmaps, and mobile research deployment for iOS and Android. Its mixed-methods approach suits product, design, research, and experience teams that want to connect stated feedback with observed behavior. AI-assisted study design, synthesis, thematic analysis, reporting, and recommendations extend the workflow beyond collection alone.

Pricing is handled through contact sales rather than published plan prices. The pricing model is based on response volume, capabilities, deployment environments, and onboarding and support needs. There is no free plan. For larger organizations, Sprig includes governance features such as SAML single sign-on, roles, permissions, access controls, and enterprise administration. Teams evaluating the product should clarify the commercial scope around their expected response volume, environments, and required capabilities before choosing it. Its model is better suited to organizations planning a managed research program than to individuals seeking a self-serve starter tool.

The platform’s main strength is breadth: teams can recruit participants, run in-product and mobile studies, test prototypes, capture recorded tasks, inspect replays and heatmaps, and connect research with tools such as Dovetail, Notion, Slack, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Miro, Framer, and analytics or data tools. It also supports integrations with User Interviews, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor, and Zapier. Sprig is a strong fit for unmoderated research and for teams combining feedback with behavioral evidence. Organizations that require moderated research, a free starting tier, or a narrowly focused research tool should consider alternatives aligned with those needs.
